It is super awesome! 😉 Love the collection… I read Animal Farm this year, as well. I was thinking of doing a book report on it, but somehow it just seems too complicated for me to do justice to it.

Thank you! I assure you there’s more to it, not lately though, I’ve got finals 😥 Yeah, it’s a super book and surprisingly thin to be a legend 😉 There’s much to reviewing it, but I know you’ll do well. Just sit down and write!

Looks like you’ve been reading some great books in the past couple of years! I really need to read The Book Thief and I have a few Khaled Hosseini books. I’m really looking forward to The Kite Runner in particular. And I see Nicholas Sparks! I tried reading one of his books but couldn’t do it, unfortunately. Maybe straight up romance isn’t for me. Anyway, lovely list, Akanksha!

Thank you Summer! You must read The Book Thief, it’ll change your life; it sure changed mine. And to be honest, I didn’t find The Kite Runner very awesome. In fact, A Thousand Splendid Suns by him as well, is much better. Also, Nicholas Sparks was disappointing. For instance, The Notebook movie was so much better. I found his books very boring. Not my cup of tea. And I would say, you must read The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and Marley and Me. They’re all different genres but I think you’ll like them if you haven’t read them already.
Thanks again 😀 I appreciate it!

Oddly, I’m not a big fan of most Nicholas Sparks movies. The Last Song was okay and I actually thought Safe Haven was pretty good. When SH, the book, was on sale I bought it and couldn’t really get into it. Maybe it’s because I already saw the film. I’m not sure. And thank you for the recommendations! The Cuckoo’s Calling was a book I was on the fence about because of the mix reviews, but I’ll definitely consider it now. And TPoBaW is a ya classic, I hear. I’ll read it!

Yeah, I find nIcholas Sparks very repetitive and tragic most of the times. He’s actually overrated. I look forward to your reviews! 😀

That’d be great! I am a little busier with school (as you can probably tell since I reply so belated), but I always check my nonschool (this) email on weekends! It’s sumlynnguyen@aol.com And do you happen to have a goodreads?

Yup, I do. It’s just below. And same here, I am too very busy with school these days. But I’ll definitely email you when I have any free time at hand. It may take some time though as we (as in students in India who are in class 12) have these really important and huge examinations in March and we really have to study for that. So, it may be after some time that I email you. Sorrrayy 😐

So waiting to see what comes next.
I am influenced to read and make a list like this and then make a confession too 😀

Heheh, thank you Bhanu. I read it again, it sure is a mix-up of genres and writers. I’ve updated it, and next on my list is Geetanjli by Tagore, Scion Of Ikshvaku by Amish, Dreamcatcher by Stephen King (who I’ve never read before) and The Godfather.
Let’s see how those turn out.
Thanks again though 😀
