English Errors

English language is primarily the world’s most widely used language. It is estimated that one of every 5 people can speak English. Also according to the British Council, English is spoken as a native language and a foreign language by nearly 375 million people each. Roughly, 750 million people can speak English fluently, out of the 7.1 billion, despite the variations in dialect, speaking style and the origin of words. Isn’t it strange to know of the common mistakes people make while speaking it, even by one of the most learned English scholars? Read the article to find out more, which I read in The Guardian online.

  1. Hey Akanksha, I might sound really imbecile, but could you tell me how the pingback feature works? I’m totally clueless. Sorry to trouble you.
    Thanks a ton,
    Hannah 🙂

    • Haha, don’t worry, I’d love too. I take halp like that all the time 😛
Anyways, when you want to give a pingback, you select the text you want make the hyperlink. Then, you select the eleventh tool on your toolbox, which is the one from where you format like bold, italics etc. It should read insert/edit link. There a dialog box comes, and you enter the weblink you want to give the pingback to. If it’s a page/post from your own site, you can select it drop the scrolling box at the bottom. Click OK.
When you publish your post, it will come as a notification to the person you pingbacked to.
