English language is primarily the world’s most widely used language. It is estimated that one of every 5 people can speak English. Also according to the British Council, English is spoken as a native language and a foreign language by nearly 375 million people each. Roughly, 750 million people can speak English fluently, out of the 7.1 billion, despite the variations in dialect, speaking style and the origin of words.
