Songs

Listening to songs is one of my favorite activities. Love The Way You Lie by Rihanna and Eminem, Last Friday Night by Katy Perry, Love Story by Taylor Swift, My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Today Was A Fairytale, again by Taylor Swift are amongst my favorites. And Bollywood! I should say is incomplete without songs. They are the soul and dance of any movie! I cant even imagine how Hollywood movies work without song. Guess, that’s why they are smaller! Anyway, songs, no matter English or Hindi, rock.

There are many genres for songs. Rock, Soft, Country,Raw, Metal, Heavy Metal are to name a few.

Songs are like continuous entertainers for the lifetime. We can also listen to bhajans, ghazals, from Mirza Ghalib, Harivansh Rai Bachhan etc. Songs explains our mood. We can improve our mind with songs and also improve our voice (: ! Songs have the power to express thought which words can’t. They are the combination of symphony, melody and words in one in accordance to the beat and the sur. Songs can put thoughts into words. They often are based on our lives. I believe that but not always. Love and romantic songs may tell the story of the love you have fallen for, or any critical songs can be connected to your mind and sung.

Similarly, if not singing, humming and tune you get can be put into a song. people often ask-“Which is the song you can’t get out of your head?”. I reply- “Any song that expresses my life.” Presently, I’m listening to An Year Without Rain by Selena Gomez. Being a kid, I am currently listening to only songs by the latest and youngest of the Hollywood singers. So, I conclude that songs are continuous entertainers for life and often say things that cant be put into words!!!!
